Free Volume Booster

RapVideo’s free volume booster raises the level of a local audio file and exports the result as a WAV. Choose a file up to 25 MB and 3 minutes, set the boost and preview it before downloading. Audio is processed in your browser; peak protection limits the boost when a file has little headroom.

Actual gain is limited by the loudest sample. Already loud files may not get louder. Start playback at a low listening volume.

How to use the volume booster

  1. 01

    Open a short audio file

Choose a browser-supported audio file up to 25 MB and 3 minutes. MP3 and WAV usually work; other formats depend on your browser.

  2. 02

    Set the boost and render

Choose a level from 100% to 300%. Keep peak protection on to limit gain to available headroom, then render a preview. Start playback at a low listening volume.

  3. 03

    Preview and export

Listen to the rendered preview and download the 16-bit WAV. Change the settings and render again if needed. There is no server upload or account requirement.

Tips for a better result

  • Peak protection may apply less boost than requested when peaks are already near full scale.
  • Increasing gain also raises background noise; it does not restore distorted or clipped recordings.
  • WAV exports can be larger than compressed source files.

Frequently asked questions

Does the volume booster upload my audio?

No. Decoding, volume processing, preview and WAV export all happen locally in your browser.

Why is the actual boost lower than the slider?

With peak protection enabled, the tool reduces gain to keep the loudest sample below full scale. A file that already peaks near full scale has little room for a clean gain increase.

What formats can I use?

The input must be decodable by your browser. MP3 and WAV are common choices, while M4A, OGG, FLAC and other formats depend on browser support. The output is always 16-bit WAV.

Can I use the boosted audio in the AI rap video generator?

The current AI rap video generator accepts photos and text, not uploaded audio. This audio booster is a separate free utility for your own demos and recordings.
