The short answer
What the Raindance trend looks like
Updated October 24, 2026
The Raindance AI trend is a short music-video style clip in which a person, or a couple, sings slowly in warm rain on a pier at golden hour, usually posted with a popular slow R&B song. On RapVideo you add one photo and the model renders a 15-second vertical video of you in that scene: low sun, a still sea, light rain wetting your hair and a slow push-in to a sung close-up. It costs 7 credits at 480p or 12 credits at 720p. The clip has its own original track, so add the trending sound inside TikTok or Instagram when you post.
The look is simple and moody. Someone stands near the end of a wooden jetty over calm water with the sun low behind them. A light rain starts, glitters in the gold light and slowly soaks their hair and clothes while they sing to the camera, eyes half closed. People post it as a tiny music video, often as a solo moment, sometimes as a duet with a partner.
It is tied to a popular R&B song by two artists, and the trend leans on that sound. We describe the trend in our own words and do not use the song. The clip you make has an original slow love song, sung softly over rain and waves, so there is no copyrighted recording in the file. Add the sound you want in TikTok or Instagram, and turn the clip's own audio down there.
This is a new render, not a face swap or the original footage. The model keeps your face, hairstyle and outfit from the photo and builds the pier, the rain and the camera move around you. RapVideo is not affiliated with the artists, TikTok or any app.

How it works
Make it in 3 steps
- 1
Add a photo
A crisp face matters most because the shot gets close. Going as a duet? Add one photo of each person, or one photo with both of you.
- 2
Pick Standard or HD
Standard (480p) is 7 credits, HD (720p) is 12. The button shows the exact price first, and a failed render refunds itself.
- 3
Download, then add the sound
It is ready in about 2 to 5 minutes. Save the MP4, upload it, and pick the Raindance sound in the app's sound picker.
Why make it here
What the Raindance clip puts on screen
Golden-hour pier
A long wooden jetty over a still sea, the sun low on the horizon behind you.
Warm summer rain
It starts partway through and glitters as your hair and clothes get wetter.
A slow sung close-up
Eyes half closed, singing slowly to the camera as it creeps closer.
An original track
Soft R&B vocals with rain and waves underneath, so the MP4 is never silent.
