Pet rap video: your dog or cat on the mic

The short answer

Can a pet really rap?

Updated October 24, 2026

Yes, you can make a pet rap video on RapVideo: upload a clear photo of your dog or cat and one of a sidekick (another pet or you), type a topic, and the model renders a 12-second video of the pair rapping an original verse. The generator is built for people, so pet results vary: the animal may keep its look, pick up human features or come out stiff. Try 480p first for 6 credits.

Sometimes, and that is part of the fun. The rap generator is built around human faces: the model is told to keep each face from the photo and move the mouth to the vocals. With a pet, the result varies from render to render. The animal might keep its look with a moving mouth, pick up some human features, or come out a little stiff. We cannot promise how closely it matches.

A finished render is charged even if it looks odd, while a failed one is refunded, so the cheap way to test is Standard 480p for 6 credits. The most reliable inputs are a close, well-lit photo with the face toward the camera and one animal per picture.

You can also join in. Put yourself in the second spot and the video becomes a duet of you and your pet. The verse is an original written from your topic, in the language you type, and no real artist or existing song is used.
