The short answer
A birthday song nobody else could send
Updated October 24, 2026
A birthday rap song is a short original rap written around one person, with their name and a detail only you know in the lyrics. On RapVideo you add a photo of the birthday person and one of yourself, type a line like name, age and one fun fact (up to 120 characters), and the AI writes the verse and renders the two of you rapping it on stage. A 12-second vertical video costs 6 credits at 480p or 10 at 720p and downloads as an MP4.
Most birthday songs were written for everybody. A personalized birthday rap starts from one line about one person, and the AI writes the verse from it, so the gift only makes sense for them. The video then shows the birthday person on stage performing it with you.
Both of you rap, trading lines at a shared mic, which makes it feel like a duo performance rather than a greeting card. The model renders a new clip from your photos, so faces, hair and outfits stay yours; it is not a face swap and no existing song is used.
The default stage is the Lobby Booth, a plain warm orange wall with one hanging mic, which makes the birthday person pop. Switch to the Gold Lounge for a fancy party feel or the Block Party stage for a street celebration; the price stays the same. Want the jokes sharper? Try the funny birthday video, or pick a sung version with the personalized birthday song.

Why make it here
Why a rap makes a better birthday message
It is about them
Their name, age and your inside joke end up in the verse, not a generic "happy birthday" line.
You are in it too
Both of you perform, so the video is a shared moment instead of a mass-produced clip.
Quick to make
Two photos, one line, about 2 to 5 minutes of rendering. It works on a phone with no app to install.
Easy to share
A vertical 12-second MP4 fits WhatsApp, iMessage, Stories and Reels with no watermark.
